In 1888, prior to his association with William H. Jackson, Mellen issued these small albums of cabinet card images from his short-lived studio in Colorado Springs as railroad souvenirs. These "Art Keepsakes" are not often seen in their original stiff wrappers. This issue includes the following images: Dale Creek Bridge, Up the Weber from Pulpit Rock, untitled image of needle-like rock formations, untitled image of railroad tracks running though a mountain pass next to a river, Devil's Slide [in] Weber Canyon, Tunnel No. 3 [in] Weber Canyon. No other copies of this issue traced.
