Additional Details

Stated second edition. An early British printing of the key founding documents of the United States. The dedication and preface are unabashedly supportive of the American cause, concluding with the hope that "the arm of resistance should ever prevail, when directed against the heart of tyranny."

Pages 369 to 400 are skipped in the pagination, corresponding to gatherings Bb and Cc. This is not noted in the bibliographies, but collates with the New York Public Library and Ohio State copies digitized on Google Books. The catchwords and the table of contents suggest that nothing is missing. Hart 92; Howes C716; Sabin 16088.
