Additional Details

The ship began its career as the "Marechal Petain." She was scuttled by the Germans during the war, reconditioned after the war, and renamed "La Marseillaise" under the banner of Messageries Maritimes. She briefly sailed as the "Arosa Sky" for the Arosa Line (1957) and then went to the Costa Line in 1958 where she was renamed "Bianca C." She burned and sank in the West Indies.
