Appears to be a gathering of Adam plates from a larger series which included the work of many other artists. The front wrapper of the fascicle which is bound in states in French that many subjects and many artists were involved, with Costain being the principal artist. It seems likely that the Adam plates were pulled from the series by the publisher and the plates sent to Germany where they were bound and the volume titled in German (Blätter von Adam 1834).
