Group of 6 photographs depicting the gun moll Kathryn Kelly, including her mug shot and fingerprint card; in 4 of the prints she is shown with her husband, the notorious George "Machine Gun" Kelly.
Silver and ferrotyped silver prints, the mug shot measuring 2 7/8x3 7/8 inches (7.4x9.9 cm.), the mount (a fingerprint card) 8 inches (23.9 cm.) square, and the remaining 5 press prints 8 1/2x6 inches (21.6x15.2 cm.), and the reverse, the sheets slightly larger, each with a mimeographed caption on verso. 1929-33

Additional Details

The maiden arrest of Kathryn Kelly, who was picked up for shoplifting; her signed fingerprint card features one of her aliases "Dolores Whitney." The other photographs relate to the Kellys' arraignment and trial for the kidnapping of Charles F. Urschel.
