(CRIME) A noteworthy group of appoximately 86 crime photographs, apparently related to post-war Japan and California. With images of crime scenes, including car accidents and grisly deaths (where many of the victims appear to be of Asian descent), as well as images taken inside a morgue. The group also includes artfully arranged photographs of evidence (including a table piled with marijuana) and firearms, and portraits of men who may be accused criminals. A few of the images have references to Kobe Base and show men wearing dogtags and Japanese currency, but others show evidence tags from California. Silver prints, 3 1/2x4 3/4 inches (8.9x12.1 cm.), and the reverse. Circa 1950
