The spectacular prints in lots 62 and 63 were printed for an exhibition titled "Front Page" at the California Pacific International Exposition (San Diego) in 1936. The exhibit was designed to bring together the "greatest collection of thrilling newspictures ever assembled." These enlarged photographs were shown outside the Art Deco building in which the exhibition was housed.
