Additional Details

Five members of the Dalton Gang attempted to rob two banks at once on 5 October 1892, resulting in a shootout that killed four local citizens and four gang members. The gang members Grat Dalton, Bob Dalton, Dick Broadwell, and Bill Powers are seen here in their coffins, and the badly wounded Emmett Dalton is shown recovering from his bullet wounds. The Grat Dalton card (the only one not on a Tackitt mount) shows that souvenir hunters have visited his corpse, removing one entire sleeve from his jacket.
