Edgar Hoover as director of the Department of Investigation; two closed filing punctures near upper edge with tape repair on verso, postmarked and addressed on verso to local sheriff, several contemporary manuscript annotations including "the Bloody Barrow" and "Shot and Killed in Louisiana." Clyde Barrow was killed with his accomplice and lover Bonnie Parker by police officers in Louisiana in 1935. This wanted poster is dated 24 October 1933, and notes that he is "very dangerous and extreme caution must be exercised." Among his relatives is "Mrs. Clyde Barrow, aliases Bonnie Barrow, Bonnie Parker . . . probably accompanying Barrow."
