(as well as a couple from New York City). Silver prints, each approximately 2 3/4x4 3/4 inches (7x12.1 cm.), cornered into cards with a typed caption inserted into the plastic edge including a combination of the crime, the offender's name, age, the location, physical characteristics, and/or a date (and occasionally a case number). Victor drawer, measuring 18 1/2x10 inches (47x25.4 cm.), the cards hinged and resting flat; with a label on the front "Shoplifters." 1936-1947
