'Prepared from the Reconnaissance of Colonel Ushakov, of the Russian Imperial Staff attached to General Paskieviten's Army in 1829. Illustrating also the Field Defences thrown up by Colonel Lake for its present protection and the memorable action between the Russians under General Muraviev, and the Turkish Garrison under the Command of Major General Williams and Mehemet, Vasif Pasha, on the 29th September, 1855.'
