Tall 8vo, original printed boards, darkened and spines creased, overall rubbing heaviest to joints with light exposure, joints cracked and partially detached on volume 2, scattered surface stains; some scattered foxing with offsetting from plates to facing pages but plates generally clean; preserved in 2 custom morocco gilt pull-off cases with silk chemises, by Sangorski & Sutcliffe.
