Additional Details

The quadruple-screw ship was one of the most illustrious ships in the Cunard fleet. She began service in 1914. She served as a troophip and hospital ship during World War I. She returned to passenger service after the war, but was recruited as a troopship once again during World War II. After the cessation of hostilities, she very briefly resumed her trans-Atlantic service. She was scrapped in 1950.
