Additional Details

The quadruple-screw liner began her life as the "Imperator" with the Hamburg-American line in 1912. She was ceded to Cunard after the war and made her first sailing under the Cunard banner on 21 February 1920 as the "Imperator." She was renamed "Berengaria" in 1921. She remained in service until 1938.
