The quadruple-screw "Mauretania" had four funnels, making it easy to distinguish her from the later vessel of the same name with two funnels. The first "Mauretania" made her maiden voyage in 1907. Between herself and her sister, the "Lusitania," the blue riband was held for many years. She was broken up in 1935.
