Additional Details

a lovely and scarce binding by geneviève de léotard, master of avant-garde book design. In the Golden Age of Art Nouveau and Art Deco bookbinding, de Léotard's designs stood out for their extreme linearity, modern materials, and graphic style, characterized by sharp combinations of overlapping or diverging lines interspersed with grids of lines or pointillé dots, all of which are exemplified in this binding.
