The Declaration begins the section on "Monthly Intelligence" and runs from pages 328 through 330, signed in type by John Hancock. This issue, which includes news from as late as 29 July, was likely the first American magazine to print with the text of the Declaration. It was edited by none other than Thomas Paine.
