Gordon, an influential bebop tenor saxophonist was known for his height (6'6') and his incredible ability to improvise. This would have been one of his earliest collaborations with Idrees Sulieman; the two went on to record more together in subsequent decades.
From 1962-1969, the Gyllene Cirkeln (Golden Circle) was one of the preeminent jazz clubs in Sweden.
