Group of 8 iconic photographs, comprising White Angel Breadline, Woman of the High Plains, Migrant Mother, and more. Four of these photographs are associated with Lange's 1966 retrospective at the Museum of Modern Art, New York, and four are apparently from Library of Congress negatives. Silver prints, the images measuring 9 1/2x7 1/2 inches (22.9x19.1 cm.), and the reverse, the sheets slightly larger, each with The Bitter Years (1962) (4) or MoMA (1966) labels (4, but one nearly fully perished), MoMA hand stamps (4) or Chronicle hand stamps (4), clipped newsprint captions, additional reproduction hand stamps (4), date stamps, and notations and dates, in pencil and in ink, on verso. 1933-58; printed 1962-66
