Additional Details

Geisel was a member of the Dartmouth class of 1925 but contributed to its publications such as this. While a student, he was Editor-in-Chief, wrote, and drew cartoons for the College's humor magazine, The Jack o' Lantern. Geisel invented the pseudonym "Seuss" after he was removed from its editorship for hosting an unauthorized party. He still contributed to the magazine but signed his middle name, Seuss, instead.
