As for Davies, no one knows who he was, or what he was doing, but his legacy remains. Includes: Certificate on vellum, 18 x 25 inches, issued by the Gorsedd Dderwyddol Beirdd Ynys Brydain (literally the Community of Druidic Bards of the Island of Great Britain) to James Davies, authorizing Davies to "perpetuate and propagate, in the Western Hemisphere of the World, the Druidic cause." Written mostly in Welsh, including some runic text, with the concluding paragraph in English. Signed by 16 members, including Myvyr Morganwg as Arch-Druid of Britain.
