A nice copy in an early American tooled binding. The second volume was not published until 1755. Pelham Winslow, a noted Loyalist during the Revolution, was the son of Edward Winslow, a subscriber. "Prince spent seven years in the preparation of this work. It was carefully compiled from a large number of authentic records and relations, mostly in the exact words of the respective authorities"--Church 925; Howes P615; Evans 4068.
