A later issue of the first newspaper in the Middle Atlantic colonies, founded in 1719. Only one other issue has been spotted at auction in the past ninety years: a 1737 issue which sold at Swann, 15 March 2012, lot 253. This issue includes news of a slave revolt in Jamaica: "the Forces of that Island were still pursuing the rebellious Negroes from Place to Place, they had taken a few of them and kill'd some, and taken some Arms, and that it was hoped they would at last suppress them, the Negroes wanting both Amunition and Provisions."
