Scientist's album with more than 70 photographs of geological sites in Alaska, Connecticut, New Hampshire, New York, Michigan, and Massachusetts, including Agassiz, Muir, and Malaspina glaciers, a host of till, rock, and sand formations, landmark boulders, faultsand, glacial, and ancient cliffs. Albumen (70), cyanotype (3) and printing-out (2) paper prints, prints range from approximately 4x5 to 6x8 inches (10.2x12.7 to 15.2x20.3 cm.) and the reverse. Folio, 1/4 morocco, defective; contents detached, photographs tipped to the mounts and in good-very good condition. 1880s
