Including photographs of a monumental public works project. The archive shows workmen using steam-powered machinery, and teams of manual laborers to complete the leveling of farm land and river embankments, alongside gate house construction and the laying of underground pipework to enable swift drainage. Silver prints (202), the images measuring approximately 6x8 inches (15.2x20.3 cm.), each with a caption, date, and inventory number in the negative. 1913-14
