(ELIZABETH I; QUEEN OF ENGLAND.) Vellum document, unsigned, concerning the manor of Wincanton in Somerset, in Latin. 20 lines written in a neat court hand. The elaborate initial "E" of Elizabeth encloses a watercolor bust portrait of the young queen (probably added later). Approximately 11x18 1/2 inches; evenly wrinkled, remains of large royal seal in dark brown wax attached at bottom. Westminster, 25 June 1572
