Additional Details

An uncredited and untitled tribute to Robeson which appears to be otherwise unknown. It juxtaposes three portraits of the actor, singer and activist, with the first showing him in costume in the title role of the film Emperor Jones. It certainly dates from after his 1963 retirement, and probably from before his 1976 death. Perhaps it may have been created as part of his 75th birthday festivities in 1973.
