Additional Details

This touring dance band was active in late 1932 and 1933. These two photographs show band members posed outside of their large tour bus. The signage names M. Hulbert as manager, "under personal direction of Jimmy Bailey," and invites us: "When in the South, visit the South's finest ball room, the Cotton Club." One of the photographs is credited to Jones Purdy of Memphis, TN, and the other is uncredited.
