Additional Details

This program for a post-war performance of Uncle Tom's Cabin is illustrated with several vignettes from the play, including "Eva & Uncle Tom" and "Bloodhounds on the Trail." The rear page features an illustration of the night's other act, the Memphis University Students, "the Finest Colored Singers in this Country." The interior pages feature a listing of cast and officers, as well as reviews. The program gives no year, but this act appears to have been on the road only from 1880 to 1889, and 21 March fell on a Tuesday only in 1882. No other examples traced.
