A group of 39 photographs showing officers and detectives of the Celeveland, OH police department posed with masses of seized contraband and crime scene evidence.
With images of squad members presenting and examining the illicit objects. Including an 11-inch chromed hood ornament that pierced a victim's skull during a car accident, a vast pile of confiscated marijuana, a lost goat, weapons of various shapes and sizes, 110 stolen wallets, vials of illegal narcotics, black-market meat, and of course, stacks of looted cash. Silver prints, the images measuring approximately 7x9 inches (17.8x22.9 cm.), and slightly smaller, each with various hand stamps and notations, in pencil, and some with affixed captions, on verso. 1930s-50s
