(EXECUTION)
A binder of 10 mounted photographs, likely from Cuba, depicting men being garroted, a Spanish method of execution also practiced in Latin America. Each man is bound and draped in a black cloth, with images showing the prisoners being given their last rites; the series apparently depicts two separate occasions. Printing-out paper prints, each approximately 4 1/2x6 1/2 inches (11.4x16.5 cm.), each on the original mount. 1890s
