(EXPLORERS.) STEFANSSON, VILHJALMUR. Two Typed Letters Signed, "Stef," each to Gerrit Forbes ("Dear Gerrit"). The first, describing the equipment he used to hunt animals. 1 page, 4to, personal stationery; folds, paper clip stain at top left. The second, signed in pencil, expressing disappointment at not seeing him at the Harvard Club and recalling his talk of Africa. 1 page, square 8vo, "Dartmouth College" stationery; minor smudging to signature, docketing on verso. ". . . I used telescope sights only for shooting by twilight or moonlight. . . .
