Additional Details

The late 90s was a pivotal time when fashion brands benefited from international publicity that generated superstar couture designers and models. These slides feature important, memorable shows for some of the biggest names of the period. Significantly represented are John Galliano and Alexander McQueen's early Dior and Givenchy shows. These two men were the first ever British designers to head the historic French fashion houses. This marked a phase of a Brit invasion of Paris that played out in the runway shows captured so colorfully in these slides.
