All of these films were created and distributed by Toddy Films, circa 1943. Bronze Venus, had been titled "The Duke is Tops," but re-named for Lena Horne's recent Hollywood success in Cabin in the Sky. The Regent Theatre in Youngstown, like most white theatres, would open their doors again at midnight to a segregated audience. Often, a comedy act or two was tagged on to the show for more mature nighttime patrons. Posters like these, specifically for late night showings at white theatres are uncommon.
