A rare early 'all colored' film from the Norman Film Studio, shot simultaneously with The Bull-Dogger. The Crimson Skull took advantage of the fact that they had Bill Pickett, a genuine colored cowboy on the set. Picket had just finished making The Bull-Dogger. Crimson Skull was acted by Lawrence Chenault, Anita Bush and Steve 'Peg' Reynolds. The plot centers on the hero's effort to rid the Oklahoma Prairie range of a gang of cattle-rustling, stagecoach-robbing outlaws.
