an almost complete run of this rare cultural magazine, the fifth number of which includes a 50 page special supplement 'Cuadro Sinoptico de la Esclavitud en Cuba. . . ('synoptical picture of slavery in Cuba and western culture.'). This is presented in chart form and gives a chronology of slavery in the island from 1501 through 1880 contrasted with events in European culture. A very scarce and important publication, with a great deal on 'Santeria' or 'Voudou' on the island.
