Fairy Tales has a double fore-edge painting with a woodland troll on one side, a seascape on the other (though this is quite faint) Lust for Life has a fore-edge portrait of Vincent Van Gogh surrounded by his "Drawbridge with Carriage" and "A Wheatfield with Cypresses." Two studio images of Moulton and two working drawings for this fore-edge laid in. Moulton was among the amateur American fore-edge painters from Philadelphia. She created a portrait painting of A. Edward Newton on his This Book-Collecting Game (Boston, 1928) which is in the collection of the Free Library of Philadelphia. See Weber, Fore-Edge Painting, pages 147-148.
