An interesting early certificate with a tintype of the lodge member who is shown with two women, presumably sisters in the women's auxiliary of the lodge. The Celestial Lodge of the Rhode Island Masonic order was founded in 1858, as part of the original Prince Hall Lodge of Boston, founded at the end of the 18th century.
