(FRATERNAL--ODD FELLOWS.) Grand United Order of Odd Fellows apron (similar to that used by Masons), with a chromolithograph on silk, showing Amiticia, Amor et Veritas (Friendship, Love and Truth). Silk backed with coarse black linen; with silver metallic tassels along the edges and two long strings for attaching to one's person; some light wear, but a remarkable survival of a fragile piece. Accompanied by 2 pinback buttons from the organization. Np, circa 1890-1920
