As President of the French Line, Marcel Olivier was an honored passenger on the maiden voyage of "Normandie." On the official First Class passenger list his name appears prominently before the regular alphabetical list of passengers. With the attention of the world focused on the maiden voyage of the glorious ship, Olivier was surely proud of the grand accomplishment of the ship which was built under his direction. Truly a choice piece of "Normandie" memorabilia.
