Interesting collection put together by a fan of the ship in the early 1940s. There are a few pages of magazine ads and bits and pieces of brochures, but most of the album is given over to news clippings from New York newspapers regarding the fire, capsizing, and later attempts to salvage the ship. The end of the scrapbook is devoted to the auction sale of the contents of the ship and acomplete auction catalogue is included.
