Folio, contemporary calf binding with stamped borders, volume title and name of owner's firm and address (P. J. Walsh and Sons) stamped in gold on front cover, heavily scuffed; title-page worn and browned with 3-inch chip to lower right outer margin, Walsh's inked signature, and a few erased words, lacks plate 64, plate 75 removed and replaced with a damaged loose plate from another copy, repaired clean tear to plate 88, lower half of plate 161 excised, contents variously toned and browned, occasional light foxing, blanks defective, contemporary bookplate (George Lamprey, Cutler, Dublin) on rear blank. sold as is.
