The authors discuss their lyrical appreciation of the universe through plastic dynamism, their ambition to realize an even more expansive fusion of all the elements. With the heading" The Material Construction of the Plastic Complex" they describe the new materials deemed necessary for the new pictorial arts (including colored tin foil, metal netting, springs, mirrors, and multicolored, chemically luminous tubes) and discuss (and illustrate) the importance and inclusion of Futurist toys, metallic animals, and artificial landscapes. Considered the last Futurist Manifesto of any importance, it ends with a declaration that Futurist style will inevitably dominate the sensibility of many centuries to come--Apollonio 197; Cammarota 49; Salaris 85b; Scrivo 124.
