An uncommon photograph of one of Marcus Garvey's black pride parades through Harlem. The signs read "Long Live the Negro," "In Memory of Our Dead Slave Grandparents," and other strong statements. Three other photographs of this parade can be seen in "James Van Der Zee," (Dobbs Ferry, 1973).
