With more than 60 photographs documenting natural gas compressor stations and associated support structures, including interiors of each location, in 13 cities in Texas, Kansas, Nebraska, and Iowa. Silver prints, 7 1/2x9 1/4 inches (19.1x23.5 cm.), and the reverse, some with light airbrushed retouching, mounted recto only to linen, nearly all with a typed caption, and some with a photographer's studio credit, on mount verso; a few with original glassine interleafing tissue. Oblong 4to, gilt-lettered leatherette with twin-bolt binding; the photographs are grouped by city and separated with tabbed sheets. 1930s
