a powerful work by wage with dramatic, richly-inked plates. Each folded leaf has an inserted blank to prevent reflection and offsetting to the adjacent image. A handwritten colophon by Wage states that it is number three of only ninety-nine copies, it is believed that far fewer were actually printed.
