Joslin, Gilman. 16-inch terrestrial library globe. 12 hand-colored engraved gores, two polar calottes and a calibrated brass meridian ring, original horizon ring laid on a later three-legged iron and painted wood stand. Height 42 inches overall; varnish yellowed, few cracks and surface abrasions without major loss, horizon ring with damage and repairs obscuring much of the publisher's imprint; a good candidate for restoration.
