Sparse detail but with some unusual topography such as a large "Mare de Sala" (Caspian Sea), Korea as an island, and only "Toronteac" and "Canagadi" labeled in the interior of North America. Decorative characteristics include the Egyptian Pyramids, a camel on the Arabian Peninsula, a Chinese pagoda, a North American Indian chief, a mermaid, sailing vessels, and sea monsters in the style of the 16th century. together with: 2 1/2 terrestrial globe comprised of two color-printed maps shaped over cardboard halves with a gilt-stamped paper equatorial band and original hanging cord.
