Rare early guide to Kansas and the new gold region. The dual map at the front of the guide shows Kansas and Nebraska on top and a separate map below which extends westward as far as Salt Lake City. The uncolored "military" map in the rear by G. K. Warren depicts westward to Pikes Peak. Graff 3437; Howes R120.
