Although an independent publication, this work also forms a part of Fahrner's fourteen-year-long project "Mimologie/Sammlungen" wherein each of the fourteen years has a theme. The first year's is 'Das Bestiarium der Zeichnerin oder Wasser für mein Rückenmark' (The Bestiary of the Painter or Water for my Spinal Chord). With each theme, a range of artworks is made and placed into boxes.The first box is dedicated to William Blake and is entitled 'der lange Tisch der Mystiker' (The Long Table of the Mystics). The Marriage of Heaven and Hell is one of the works included in the first box.
